Waimanu Valley (Summer 2011)

Photos from backpacking the Muliwai Trail and Waimanu Valley camping trip with the Lost Trailblazers, as guests of Kaleo Lancaster, Lei Yamasaki, Ryan Chang and Brian Bautista. The trail to Waimanu, is on the northern coast of Hawaii Island and is a 9 mile (18 round trip) hike to the campgrounds. The Lost Trailblazers; Reanne Solomon, David Chatsuthiphan, Justin Ugalino and myself; tackled the grinding trail during a waning half moon weekend in August 2011. One of the best camping trips ever, especially meeting such great new friends.
